Spier Light Art returns, turning the working farm into an immersive after-dark experience — where vineyards, the dam, the river, and historic Cape Dutch buildings form a living canvas for light.

As you wander along winding pathways, light emerges from the darkness in playful, poetic, and sometimes provocative ways. Each installation invites you to pause, reflect, and experience how light shapes memory, place, power, and possibility.

There’s no fixed route.
No prescribed order.
Just the freedom to move at your own pace — to look closer, linger longer, and feel the work rather than simply see it.

FRIDAY NIGHT MARKET - BLAAUWKLIPPEN

Blaauwklippen Wine Farm

Enjoy a a relaxed summer evening under the ancient oaks at the Friday Night Market at Blaauwklippen Wine Farm. Held on the last Friday of every month throughout summer.

Browse the stalls and friendly local vendors offering artisan food, sweet treats, drinks, and local crafts – perfect to enjoy outside under the trees and fairy lights.

Live music fills the air, while the kids have space to play on the playground and big lawns. The bar is open with a selection of our award-winning wines, beer, and

gin. Drinks and wine available at The Farmhouse.

The ideal evening to enjoy with family and friends.

STELLENBOSCH STREET SOIREES

The Stellenbosch Street Soirées are a lively sundowner series made for mingling, sipping and snacking. A section of Drostdy Street is closed to traffic and transformed into a festive, walkable street celebration.

Food stalls serve a variety of light bites, while each evening showcases a different selection of wineries. Added to the setting is the all-important ingredient of live music.
